Exercise Videos – A Busy Mom’s Solution to Staying Fit and Sane

Try as I might, I cannot commit to an exercise routine unless I know it won’t interfere with my family time. Exercise videos and online workouts allow me to be a busy mom during the day and a workout diva by night or early morning. Personally, downloadable workout videos allow me to have a variety of workout videos and allow me to stay fit while everyone else is sleeping.

My house is probably a lot like yours. Full of commotion, active and engaging children, a hard working husband and most of the day-to-day details left up to you as the mom. I enjoy the hectic schedule and crazy pace, but I often feel like I’m never alone or left to do as I please. This includes exercising. For a long time I just put it off, believing I’d get back to a fitness routine when the kids moved out or I got a live-in nanny. Neither of these is likely to happen soon, so I’ve adjusted my priorities. I downloaded several online exercise videos and online workouts and now set my alarm an hour before anyone else wakes up.

Using exercise video downloads, I’m able to get a good workout in without it taking away from my family time. When my alarm goes off, I manage to hit snooze at least once, but then shake myself awake enough to wash my face and brush my teeth. After getting into my comfy shorts and slouchy tee-shirt, I tie my hair up and quietly creep to my office, which has enough floor space to accompany my full body stretches, lunges and crunches. There are so many exercise videos. I’m able to watch online exercise videos with my laptop, which gives me a lot of freedom and control over my fitness choices. I don’t get bored with the same routine and I can choose when and where I participate. My body gets to wake up in the comfort of its own home and it is okay that my clothes don’t match.

Using a downloadable workout video to get my blood pumping and my heart rate elevated is so convenient. After I convinced myself I could go to bed at a decent hour and wake up before everyone else, I learned how easy it was to view online exercise videos. Because I can watch them on my time, if my mornings are going to be super hectic I can work out at night after I get the kids to bed. Online workouts have changed the way I exercise, and have given me reason to get out of bed a little earlier, treat myself to some alone time and know that I am not neglecting my family when taking care of myself.
